Recap → 5 Best Episodes of Spring ‘26
____
This is the 50th episode of Forms of Recreation.
As your host, Andre, I still can't believe it.
In June of 2025, I recorded and released my first episode,
in a basement, using my phone as a mic.
I didn’t want to put myself out there,
I was nervous about how my voice was going to sound,
because really,
who would listen to me anyway?
What if I run out of brands to talk about?
Can I keep up with releasing one episode every week?
Well, my people, it’s now June 2026.
Before sharing with you the Best 5 of Spring ‘26,
thank you, yes, you for listening.
For giving me the time of day to share what I have found out about product brands that offer hobby-driven experiences.
Some of you shared with me new brands I had never heard of,
Shared words of encouragement to keep going,
and shared ways in which I could improve.
Hope these episodes have sparked ideas, inspired, or led to a change in your brand or personal life.
When you get a chance, visit formsofrecreation.com.
We are getting ready to launch in-person hobbies for adults,
More on that in coming episodes,
And, will continue to find new resources for marketing teams
seeking to learn from brands providing experiences that make people feel alive.
Ok, here are clips from the Best 5 of Spring ‘26: Nintendo, Van Cleef & Arpels, Concha y Toro, Disney, and Osulloc.
