Audubon® Discovery Center
Here’s the best spot in Philadelphia for birdwatchers to meet up.
Audubon’s Discovery Center in Fairmount Park, the brand’s facility for research and science-based conservation projects, has become a community hub for those who are into birdwatching as a form of recreation.
Its location serves as a major migratory stopover location along the Atlantic Flyway for more than 200 species of birds. In addition to a roster of classes and workshops, you will also find trails, exhibits, binocular rental and bird guides, native pollinator gardens, observation decks, and of course, Audubon’s magazines available for purchase.
